Unfortunately, I do not have any formal tutoring experience, but I am passionate about helping others learn and am eager to gain experience as a tutor. Having taken my N-Levels and achieved an EMB3 of 7 points, I understand some of the challenges students may face in their studies. I have often helped my friends understand difficult topics and prepare for their studies by collating notes, breaking down complex concepts, and adapting my explanations according to their individual learning styles. This support ultimately helped them perform well and gain admission to the Polytechnic Foundation Programme. I believe that patience and approachability are important when teaching, as every student learns differently. I am willing to adapt my teaching style to suit each student's needs and create a comfortable and supportive environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at their own pace. I am also willing to prepare and organise my teaching materials according to the MOE syllabus and the student's specific learning needs, so that lessons remain relevant to what they are learning in school while reinforcing areas where they may need additional support. I am excited about the opportunity to develop my tutoring skills while helping students build greater confidence in their learning.
