By using TuitionLah ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Platform Description

TuitionLah is a free tutor-matching platform that connects tutors and students/parents in Singapore. We do not provide tuition services directly. We facilitate connections between independent tutors and families seeking tuition.

2. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to register as a tutor
  • Parents/guardians may create accounts on behalf of their children

3. Tutor Listings

  • Tutor profiles must contain accurate information about qualifications, experience, and rates
  • All tutor profiles are reviewed before being published. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing
  • Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of TuitionLah
  • Tutors are responsible for their own tax obligations and professional conduct

4. Limitation of Liability

TuitionLah is a matching platform only. We do not guarantee the quality, qualifications, or conduct of any tutor listed on the platform. Parents and students should exercise their own due diligence when selecting a tutor. We are not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from arrangements made through the platform.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Providing false or misleading information
  • Spamming or sending unsolicited messages
  • Scraping or automated data collection
  • Using the platform for illegal purposes
  • Impersonating another person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

All content on TuitionLah (design, text, graphics, logos) is owned by us and protected by copyright. User-submitted content (tutor profiles, student requests) remains the property of the user but is licensed to TuitionLah for display on the platform.

7. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
